One of our first innovations to our performance line was our ultra light weight I-beam connecting rod for a broad range of small block Chevy and Ford
applications which are nearly 100 grams lighter than the H Beam rods. This eventually grew into the development of our Sports Compact rods for
Honda, Acura, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota , VW and Mitsubishi. We use ONLY ARP 2000 3/8 bolts in these applications and they are sold under the IQ
series designation.
In 2007, RPM released our revolutionary (and patented) LG 2 Series RPMMAXX H-Beam rods. Rated at 1200 H.P., market acceptance has been
very strong for this line. This rod comes with a through the beam oiling hole from the big end to the pin in order to keep the pin cool and well lubricated.
