RPM SFI approved harmonic dampers
-Meet SFI spec #18.1
-Made from high quality carbon steel
-Spin tested to 12,500 RPM for one hour
-Pressure bonded with the outer ring retained by a retention plate
secured by six high tensile bolts.
-Some dampers come have removable counterweights making it easy
to switch from external to internal balance
-60 degrees of machined timing marks (40 degrees on some Ford
models) making it easy to adjust timing.
EACH and EVERY SFI approved damper is subjected to an
elastomer bond test of 3000lbs. of separation force. If any sign of
bond degradation is exhibited the damper is scrapped.
